Unfortunately, many older dogs and "special needs" dogs are more difficult to place. We believe that the "senior citizens" and ones who have special conditions should also have a loving home and deserve our time and attention. Unfortunately, their prolonged stay in foster care is a drain on our resources and may prevent another dog from being rescued. The two beloved old codgers pictured above are examples of dogs we rescued that were never adopted out and died in foster care.
Count Bob required extra funds to recover from Parvo.
Several dogs are currently going through heartworm treatment.
